Account Manager

National Accounts

 

 

Summary:  Represent Pentax within assigned channel of National Accounts (both brick-n-mortar and etail) and select Regional accounts dependant of candidate's geography.  Achieve sales targets while maximizing sell through, getting preferred placements, implementing promotions, implementing/enforcing MAP.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts at all levels
  • Assure that proper training has occurred
  • Communicate timely competitive situations
  • Provide timely account information to HQ personnel
  • Develop Quarterly specific promotional plans utilizing National promo events and account specific activities
  • Attend all required meetings, shows and events
  • At minimum spend one full week at HQ per Quarter

Reporting Structure:  Reports directly to National Sales Manager or Vice-President of Sales & Marketing.

 

Location:

  • Major city with access to top tier airport
  • Near at least one major retailer that carries DSLR

 

Background:  Minimum of five years experience is National Account sales within: DigiCam, CE, PC or high tech (non-software).  Able to travel weekly as required and has prospered in from a virtual office environment.

 

Education: 

  • Four year degree preferred with the above industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office

 

 

  

 

 

National Account Manager

Photo Channel (East)

 

 

Summary:  Represent Pentax with all assigned accounts/channel and new targeted accounts.  Achieve sales targets while maximizing sell through, getting preferred placements, implementing promotions, implementing/enforcing MAP.

SALES ASSOCIATE

Golden, Colorado

 

 

This employment opportunity will work with Sr. Account Manager /Account Manager to provide follow-up sales, logistics and product training support to specific accounts.

 

The Sales Associate will serve as a secondary contact to the customer and will coordinate with Marketing in Golden the delivery of all required sales support materials to the account.  This position will also coordinate with Sales Administration the status of all account orders, including shipment dates, order changes and work with Account Manager to advise accounts on any availability issues.  This position will serve as the primary contact on all product-related questions and will conduct training of a technical nature to assigned accounts on a frequent basis, including the operation, function, application, theory and demonstration of all products and technologies. Product training will include new product introductions, in-store detailing, product demonstrations, and/or seminars.  Will serve as “brand ambassador” working with accounts to plan, schedule and participate in Pentax Sales Days, and other joint sales and marketing activities.

 

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience in retail sales, sales or customer support.  Strong PC/Mac PowerPoint and MS Office application skills required.  Professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.  Photography interest and knowledge a strong plus.  Knowledge of SAP helpful.  Expected travel will be 25-40% of time.

 

 

 

This is an exempt position.
